My 4-year-old and I have been enjoying this book. Over and over and over and over….

Needless to say, we both love dim sum. And this is a cute read for before or after a trip to a dim sum house.

Do you have a favorite dim sum place where you are? What’s the one dim sum dish you would have if you could have only one?

I live in Scottsdale, AZ.. we have several places for Dim Sum (a favorite Sunday brunch) here. We LOVE Golden Budah!

Oh boy, that’s a difficult one, I love them all! Well if it had to be one.. Baked BBQ Pork Buns! The perfect Dim Sum, easy to eat, having many textures and flavor combinations.. just outrageous!

I do not know the proper way to spell these dishes but my favorite are pronounced “Har-Gow” and “Soo-Me”. One is a little flat shrimp dumpling of sorts and another is a pork dumpling with mushrooms and some other yummy things in it. Forgive the ignorant spellings but I am doing my best! :) I also love these little buns that we call Pineapple Buns but I am not sure what they really are. They are not filled with anything, just made of this delicious dough with a delicate, sugary crust. Yum!
