Soft Matcha cookies
At the station the other day I saw this packet and my curiosity got the better of me. What exactly is an American Soft? Well it turns out that it is actually a soft chewy sort of cookie (American style???). This particular version was Matcha green tea flavoured and had big chunks of milk chocolate and nuts through it. As I am writing this I am becoming aware that it sounds really bad but in the real world it is actually extremely good. Sweet but not too sweet. Chewy but still soft. Lumpy but still smooth. Just remembering it is making me hungry. I am going to have to get some more real soon.
