Manila Bay Bar and Grill and Cebu
Maricar at Filipina Soul posted about two restaurants in Philadelphia, PA. We ate at one of them pre-blogging days, but the other one — Cebu — is new to me. Note to self: gotta try that one next time we’re in Philly! I hope they have lechon! Whoops… just checked their website — no — but the sisig and okoy are calling my name! Let’s see…. May, June, July, August, September!!! Four months to go.

I visited family in Philadelphia and everyone told us to go to Manila Bay Restaurant. Not sure why my family would take me to a Filipino restaurant when I want to taste something different. I was very surprised. Manila Bay is very cozy and we had a great time with the family. The servers were very friendly and the choices of food was excellent. It was very similar to what we would have back in Manila. Even the owner came over to chat and just to say hello. Typical Filipino, we enjoyed Karaoke and a few rounds with San Miguel. Now I know why many people take visitors to Manila Bay restaurant. Anyone who has ever visited the Philippines will enjoy the Manila Bay Restaurant experience.
