Japanese strawberries
Just about any strawberries are good but some are truly great. The deal, at least in Australia, is that the bigger they are, the less they taste. It is sort of like there is a maximum amount of flavour that can go into any strawberry, no matter how big or small they are. Big ones have just diluted that flavour.
Not so in Japan. These guys, despite their massive size taste so good it is hard to believe they are real. Almost all of them are grown in hothouses, but apart from that I don’t know how they do it. How about the rest of the world? How are the world’s strawberries treating you all?
