Instant ramen inventor Ando dies at 96
Momofuku Ando (born Wu Bai Fu) died Friday afternoon, of acute myocardial infarction. Ando invented the universally-loved instant noodle when he was 48. He was president of the Nissin Food Products Co. in Osaka and chairman of the Japan Convenience Foods Industry Association.
Visit his famous Ramen Museum and don’t miss the Flash cartoons! As for me, I’m still wondering what necessitated the name change.
