Dinner in Oklahoma City on our way to the hotel:

Exterior, unassuming:

Orange Beef, too sweet, batter a tad too thick, and the meat was on the tough side, wouldn’t recommend this one!

BBQ Ribs, careful about those bones!

Mixed Claypot (Scallops, Chicken, Pork Kidney, Veggies, Tofu) — Generous serving here.

Steve says Dot Wo’s specialty supposedly is seafood; but the rest of the family was not in the mood for it tonight so dh and I settled for this. It was done better than the beef and the pork (we also ordered Chinese broccoli for more veggies), the braising liquid was not overly sweet, with the fresh cilantro enhancing everything else, and the scallops and kidney were done to perfection.

There weren’t Asian customers in sight except for us that evening, but I have no idea if that’s an indication of how good the food is here. The family did come away satisfied, but next time we pass through here I think we ought to try the Edmond branch.
